Maria is Head of Comms and Community Engagement for B Lab Europe, broadcasting business as a force for good and accelerating the B Corporation movement across Europe, including driving impact around collective action and advocacy efforts. Prior to this role, she spent a decade overseeing strategy for global clients ranging from renewable energy companies to sportswear brands across three international offices at Certified B Corp Wieden+Kennedy, one of the world’s leading independent creative agencies. In recent years she has taken creative problem-solving from the agency world to non-profits, working on tackling ocean plastic pollution and empowering women at eXXpedition before joining the B Lab team in 2021. Originally from Brazil, Maria has lived across four continents and now calls Amsterdam home.
