Engineer and economist, specialized in fuel poverty and energy taxation, Audrey Berry is an energy and climate expert at the High Council for Climate. She co-authored the book “Nos Futurs” which aims to explain and explore the damaging effects of climate change through the dual lens of science and fiction.

Audrey Berry has worked at ADEME, the French Agency for Ecological Transition, in the climate change department. She also participated in the elaboration of a brief recommending changes to the national greenhouse gas reporting system. Audrey Berry worked at the International Research Center on Environment and Development (Cired), where she conducted a study on the transport dimension of fuel poverty, in collaboration with Nicolas Coulombel and Yves Jouffe of the City, Mobility and Transport Laboratory and Céline Guivarch of Cired.

Within the High Council for the Climate, she analyzes French greenhouse gas emissions and their causes and evaluates the implementation of the climate objectives that France has set.
