Biography
Nicolas Brien is a leading figure in the French digital ecosystem and the European startup movement. He is the Chairman of the Board of EuraTechnologies.
He holds a master’s degree in international finance from Columbia University in New York. Since 2016, he has been the Director General of the France Digitale association and has been involved in the creation of sustainable jobs in the digital sector.
In January 2020, the Prime Minister appointed him to the Mission for the regulation of platform workers, which recommended better social protection in its final report.
In June 2020, Nicolas Brien was elected to the presidency of the Board of Directors of the European Startup Network, the European lobby for startups based in Brussels. The specialized media Contexte named him as one of the “100 French people who count” in the digital sector in Europe.
Appointed Chairman of the Board of EuraTechnologies in 2021, his mission will be to revitalize the spearhead of the digital sector in Lille and the Hauts-de-France region, and to make EuraTechnologies one of the leading creators of sustainable and non-disposable jobs in the region.
