Olivia MUIRU is the founder of B Lab East Africa. In this capacity, she has worked on building a community of certified B-Corps in the region and supporting companies to measure and manage impact. The hub has certified 25 B-Corps and supported over 600 companies to measure and manage impact. Prior to this, Olivia MUIRU worked at B Lab Global for six years holding many key roles, and before joining B Lab Global, she worked at Microfinanza Rating (MFR), measuring the impact of microfinance institutions in serving vulnerable populations in Sub-Saharan Africa. She was recognized in 2017 as an Emerging Leader by Skoll Foundation and in 2018, she was in the Top 40 Under 40 Women in Business in Kenya.
