Pearl Capital Partners

Pearl Capital Partners (PCP) is a private owned investment fund manager business specializing in investing risk capital in small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the agriculture value chains in Eastern and Southern Africa.

PCP’s vison is to create an environment in which agricultural entrepreneurs across various value chains are able to access funding for individually appropriate structured expansion, growth and economic development in the region. This to achieved through continuously investing in our niche agri-sectors.

Our mission is to provide medium to long term capital to high quality entrepreneurs resident in Eastern and Southern Africa, earn positive investment financial returns and to build long term sustainable agri-businesses with significant and quantifiable social and developmental returns.

Our success is derived from working with ambitious management teams, providing supportive investment structures and specialist expertise that create high-growth agribusiness. This is mostly experience driven.

The PCP team is currently deploying its Uganda Agri-business only focused Yield Uganda Investment Fund while also managing divestments in the African Seed Investment Fund investees and closing out its initial Fund AAC. Our investments strengthen agricultural sub sectors and use a small holder farmer networks impact model to generate significant incomes for millions of families across East Africa. The by-product of this growth is that it creates financial returns for the Funds under management while positively impacting on smallholder families and agribusinesses themselves/teams in various ways.
