Jérôme Perrin is an engineer from the Polytechnic School and holds a doctorate from the University of Paris Denis Diderot. He first worked as a researcher at CNRS and then as R&D program manager in various industrial groups, including Renault, where he participated in the development of electric vehicles and new autonomous forms of mobility. He is also a graduate in theology from the Catholic Institute of Paris.

Jérôme Perrin is a Polytechnic School engineer and a University of Paris  Denis Diderot doctor of science. He was first a researcher at the CNRS in plasma physics and chemistry before moving on to industrial R&D in the Oerlikon group on the production of photovoltaic panels and flat screens, then at Air Liquide on hydrogen and fuel cell, and finally at Renault where he develops electric and autonomous vehicles as new forms of mobility. In this field, he contributed to the creation of the Institute for the Energy Transition VEDECOM. He is also a graduate in theology from the Catholic Institute of Paris.

The Renault Group, with its alliance with Nissan, sold more than 3 million vehicles in 2016 under the Renault, Dacia, Samsung Motors, Alpine and LADA brands.
