3D - When the collaborative economy meets the sustainable economy

For the first time perhaps in all of history, the challenges facing us are more than we can handle individually, with “us” referring equally to governments, corporations, experts, associations and the citizenry. To rise to these challenges, it will be necessary to harness all our energies, so that a new collective order emerges. How can the emergence of a collaborative economy yield responses to pressing environmental and societal challenges? How can transitioning from an “EITHER OR” mentality to one of “BOTH” serve to identify sources of energy and resource savings, and moreover revitalize our localities and regions?
