The transition towards sustainable, low-carbon food has become a major global concern. This conference will explore global perspectives on this vital transition – from eating habits to environmentally-friendly farming practices – and identify concrete actions in the agri-food industry. It will provide an overview of the challenges and opportunities associated with the transition towards sustainable food. We will raise key questions such as food security, the preservation of natural resources, reducing food waste, the impact on biodiversity and climate change as well as the socio-economic aspects of sustainable food production.
