Our cities and towns are growing at an alarming rate and the need for transport and mobility solutions that are viable and sustainable has never been greater. We are now required to radically rethink how we transport ourselves and our goods. Now add the supreme challenge of global climate change as transport accounts for approximately 35% of green house gas emissions globally – so much attention will be focused on this important sector in the short to medium term.
Energy efficient vehicles, efficient logistics, appropriate modal choices, alternative fuels, propulsion technologies, …solutions already exist !
