“We’ve decided to stop letting ourselves be pushed around, to do our green coming-out.”
Arnaud Vanpoperinghe embodies this new generation of managers determined to break the industry’s traditional codes and patterns. How do they do this? By working together over the long and short term! Under his leadership, Tikamoon, a pure-player specializing in solid wood furniture, is proving that it can be profitable to offer furniture designed to last 100 years, while growing exponentially.
Its ambition is to provide access to quality, long-lasting products for as many people as possible, right into their homes. How do we achieve this? By orchestrating traceable, cooperative and regenerative production! Tikamoon is dedicated to quality consumption that lasts!
Today, the company has annual sales of 110 million euros, and is exploring innovative strategies to minimize the use of natural resources and promote the traceability of wood.
With initiatives such as the “Tikagreen” program and membership of the “1% for the Planet” collective, a carbon footprint assessment with Carbone 4, life-cycle analysis with ADEME and FCBA, FSC certification, and a partnership with WWF, Arnaud Vanpoperinghe embodies the profound transformation of his company, in line with a service-oriented strategy. He is also one of the participants in the first stage of the Convention des Entreprises pour le climat.
How has he worked out his strategy for the short, medium and long term? What course should it take to move towards the regenerative enterprise? What day-to-day levers does it use to get there? Take the time to listen to our conversation!
