Biography

At the head of 1083 with his brother Grégoire, he likes not to be defined by a particular profession. “Being an entrepreneur means no longer having one job, but enriching your professional life with dozens of different jobs. It keeps me awake, open and curious, and I like having to learn and grow as we progress in everything we build together,” emphasizes the young 40-year-old, who defines 1083’s journey as above all a human adventure. It all began in Romans-sur-Isère in the Drôme region, where as a child he would visit his grandparents every weekend. It was in Romans-sur-Isère that, in 2007, he transformed a family home into an ethical fashion boutique.

After 6 years discovering business and the world of fashion, he became passionate about jeans and their universality, and in 2013 began relocating all stages of jeans manufacturing to France. From the outset, the company has taken the fashion industry by storm.

When fashion brands overproduce and overconsume, 1083 wants to grow and reduce the consumption of jeans in France through a responsible, high-quality supply chain that creates local jobs: “The French buy almost 67 million pairs of jeans every year.

We’re developing a range of jeans that are beautiful, local, sustainable and of high quality, so that the French increasingly like to consume less and better”.
