Biography
Jean-Baptiste Ceaux is Director of European operations at Sourcemap, the international leader in supply chain mapping and raw materials traceability.
With previous experience in communications and marketing, as well as 10 years in investment banking in London, Milan and Hong Kong, Jean-Baptiste opened Sourcemap’s European subsidiary in Paris in January 2022. By June 2023, the Sourcemap team had grown to 15 employees, specializing in the textile and luxury, agri-food, pharmaceutical and automotive industries. Sourcemap’s customers include international groups such as Ferrero and Mars.
Before joining Sourcemap, Jean-Baptiste worked in many different fields. After studying economics at Paris-Dauphine University, and a master’s degree in finance at Bocconi University in Milan, Jean-Baptiste obtained a CAP in ceramic turning (an essential art for giving shape to materials). Driven by a deep-rooted passion for entrepreneurship, innovation and meaning, he is in charge of sales and marketing at Manufacture de Sèvres between 2018 and 2021.
His international experience, combined with his deep understanding of the financial world, entrepreneurship and marketing, make him an indispensable player in Sourcemap’s development strategy.
