If we really want to reverse the current trend, the transition must be huge, profoundly impactful and universal. A region or company cannot transform alone. It must reply on an ecosystem, on ambitions and on national, European and international requirements. The local can gain strength from the global. Whatever the scale, these actions must be aligned and lead to a single objective: reversing the current trend and move towards fair, environmentally-friendly transition. We need to use the existing mechanisms, be they international, European or national. We need to work with our international, European or national peers to gain inspiration, swap ideas and progress. This interdependence is crucial. Our region relies on our planet’s driving forces.
