The productivity of the global economy is lagging. A major reason is the huge costs imposed by the inefficient use of energy. Initial estimates suggest that globally we waste 80 percent or more of all the energy consumed within the economy. This panel will explore the next generation of efficiency improvements and how we might unlock those future benefits.
