Biography
Expert in collective intelligence, Charlie Felgate defines himself as an agitator, who federates around a common objective to lead change and make the world (sportingly) better! After nine years in entrepreneurship (3 business creations), he decided in 2015 to return to Decathlon, where it all began (1999-2005) to work on the Sustainable Development of the group.
In 2018, he was entrusted with working on the company’s vision with the “Vision 2030” project. Decathlon Vision 2030 is a project of collective intelligence that aims to adapt Decathlon to what will be the world of sports and its practice in 2030. To achieve this, and because he believes in the power of the collective, he is launching a digital platform to gather ideas from everyone: employees and citizens. As he was nearing the end of the process, the Covid epidemic struck and with his team they decided to rename the project “Vision 2021” because in his words “tomorrow starts today”.
