Biography
Through the Guayaki Yerba Foundation he founded, Alex Pryor places the regeneration of the planet at the heart of his business model.
His foundation has had a positive impact on 40 Ache Guayaki Indian families in Paraguay. Witnessing the causes and consequences of deforestation as a child in Argentina, Alex Pryor wanted to act and take steps to combat global warming.
With 25 years of experience in indigenous ancestral culture, international trade, food science and natural resource management in agroecology, he is currently promoting regenerative business models, such as the Guayaki, to enhance the interdependence of ecosystems, economy and culture on a local, regional and global level.
