Julia FAURE

Biography

“Less but better”: Julia Faure is the co-founder of Loom, an activist clothing brand. Her credo: to change our consumption habits by offering sustainable clothing with the least possible impact on the planet and humans.

Julia Faure is an agricultural engineer (AgroParisTech) and holds a master’s degree in gender studies from the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid.

She worked at the launch of Amazon Spain on the logistics side, a company she left two years later to join La Ruche qui dit Oui! as a strategic project manager.

In parallel to her studies, she founded the fashion accessory brand Denovembre and got involved in various Slow Fashion associative projects.

In 2016, she founded Loom, a clothing brand, with Guillaume Delay, in order to produce more qualitative clothing.

She also works to make people understand and share what makes a garment sustainable. The blog La Mode à l’envers, carried by the two co-founders of the brand, explains their approach.
