American activist and entrepreneur Judy Wicks co-founded the Business Alliance for Living Local Economies, also known as BALLE. She also founded the iconic “White Dog Café” an organic and locavore restaurant in Philadelphia. Her memoir “Good Morning, Beautiful Business” won the Nautilus Book Award Gold Medal in Business Leadership.

Her work has earned her numerous local and national awards, such as the James Beard Foundation Humanitarian of the Year Award. Judy was inducted into the University Science Center’s Innovators Walk of Fame in 2016.
