Efficiency, consistency and sufficiency are the three overarching implementation
strategies.
The 2000 Watts Society provides accounting practices and lifestyle guidance for
a sustainable future. It was developed at the ETH Domain and is today a
national sustainability program. More than 100 cities and all the cantons of
Switzerland are targeting the 2000 Watts Society as a political goal. Industry,
development business and professional associations are intensely involved in
the implementation.
