Biography
A lawyer specialized in tax law, Christian Nouel joined Gide in November 2013, as a partner, with eight of his associates from the Paris office of law firm Morgan Lewis & Bockius. Christian was previously a partner in the law firm Latham & Watkins, head of the tax department of the Paris office.
Christian Nouel has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and the structuring of acquisition transactions for private equity funds and industrial and commercial companies.
Christian also advises companies in the daily monitoring of their business, executives in the management of their holdings in companies and intervenes in the follow-up of disputes with the tax administration.
Christian Nouel is General Secretary of the CroissancePlus Association and President of the Tax Commission, Secretary General and co-founder of the Responsible Growth Foundation, a foundation hosted by the Institut de France, and Secretary General of the mouvement Nous Citoyens.
