Edouard Sauvage is the Managing Director at GRDF (Gaz Réseau Distribution de France) since January 1, 2016. In 2002, he joined the Strategy Department of Gaz de France (GDF). First Delegate for strategic and European affairs, Edouard Sauvage became the Deputy Director of the International Division at GDF in 2003.

Biography

Edouard Sauvage is a graduate of École Polytechnique and École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, and is Chief Engineer of Bridges, Water and Forests.  He started at EDF GDF and became Head of Strategy for the GDF Suez Group before accepting the position of Managing Director of GRDF in January 2016.  

GRDF is the operator of a natural gas distribution network in France, employing nearly 12,000 people.  GRDF is at the heart of energy delivery, and has worked to connect this delivery to digital, particularly through energy management applications.  These applications, developed jointly with innovative experts in digital, are part of a revolution that ties into the company’s culture, particularly through the support of projects relating to corporate social responsibility.
