President of Ellio, a consulting firm specializing in sustainable strategies, Esther Dormagen assists organizations in their reflection to help them build sustainable solutions. As a facilitator, she helps teams to collectively build more innovative and mobilizing solutions that improve overall performance.

Esther Dormagen contributed to the design of the BNQ 21000 standard and its application methodology, and to the Sustainable Industries Council’s Ecoresponsible program. She was also associated with The Natural Step Canada.

Esther Dormagen was the instigator of the Parcours développement durable Montréal, aimed at Montreal SMEs, created in 2018 with the City of Montreal, the Conseil des industries Durables, the Quebec government and the C40 group (Women4Climate program). She also co-founded Toucan solutions, a company whose goal is to help agri-food companies fight against waste.

She holds an MBA from McGill University and has been teaching Sustainability Consulting at McGill’s Faculty of Management since 2015.

She is a volunteer with Cataléthique, the Association of Sustainable Development Professionals and the Humanitarian Coalition. She gives conferences and participates in interviews such as HEC’s Creators of Values.
